Keeping a BC2000D cool at .5 ohm daily

So, after some discussion I purchased a BC2000D for my Zv4. Finished the install yesterday (brand new install, didn't have the Z running before). It is absolutely deadly, and the amp performs better far beyond my expectations for the price (and I got it new). Obviously, after a good period of playing at .5 ohm in my trunk the amp got very hot. When I'm driving I always keep one seat down for air ventilation and the amp is cool after hours of playing. So, what would be the best option to keep it cool during demos and when the seats are up? I'm thinking either a piece of mdf with spacers for airflow below the amp. Or fans on the side heat-sinks..

I'd love any suggestions to keep this amp happy.

Thanks!!

Mount it raised on some wood and set up push/pull fans at both ends

Mounted it with spacers on a sheet of MDF today, i've got two fans coming that ill hook to a relay. Going to put them on each side where the mosfet heatsinks are. Should help it out, especially being in Texas...

While they're designed to take heat, ultimately it degrades all electronics over time. Sometimes it's just such a slow degradation that it doesn't matter, but if OPs amp is getting that hot, I'm sure he's doing right by keeping it cooler - especially at .5 ohms
