1000W x 1 @ 1 ohm OK that's what the amp rating is I'm getting AB 12s dual 2 ohm. I'm wiring them to 1 ohm. My ? Is will the amp push 1000 watts to each sub and I havnt hook up a ampp for a very long time do I run both sub wires to the same port on amp to get the 1000 watts to them ty

Theres dofferent impedances available for most subs, D2, and D4 are the common ones. If your getting 2 subs and want to wire to 1 ohm you meed D4. A single sub to 1 ohm will need to be D2. But to your question no your amp is 1000x1 so if you put 2 subs youll give each half

Sweet ty so much that's a perfect answer just what I was looking for ty! I'm not trying to go real expensiv . My first real system! So I'm prolly just going to go with PA mofos and 2 audiopipe 1000 watt amps c1500martin

Whats your budget, i bet a single 12" sub in the proper ported box on a REAL 1k watt amp will do more than those subs on those 2 audiopipes. And yes it is thanks.

Sundown SA 12, a used 1200w amp, and a custom ported box. Sundown audio supplies free box plans if your up for the chalenge or you cam have a memeber on here build you one. Also you can get a good knukonceptz amp kit for like $35 on amazon 4 gauge is all you need. And you can always turn the amo gain down if its too much for your car. Well withing the $600 range

What i linked is most likely just a basic box ported but no fancy things like 45s and rounded corners.
