keep stock bose?

i have a 2000 pontiac bonneville and am getting 2 12" alpine r's in a ported box. im wondering if the stock bose system will keep up with the subs or will i need to invest in some components.

does anyone else have subs with their stock bose system? how is it?

they will keep up but wont do a good job

Im not a fan of bose sound systems in cars but i like them in HT applications. Always gotta reaplace the whole bose system in a car and sometimes its a pain.

OT:

Bose HT systems are good and small -- but jeez the markup lol... those drivers cost them like $2 each...

Granted it would be fun to work for bose lmao -- I wouldn't ever buy anything they make (atleast all their current stuff)
