Keep or Ditch the OEM's?

My car has door buildouts for two 6.5"s in each door and I was going to install a set of comps (maybe CXS62) and ID OEM's to fill the door buildouts.

I'm thinking of recovering the doors, selling the OEM's and just install some 6.5" comps in the kick panels.

What should I do.....keep the door buildout with the dual 6.5's or run just one set of 6.5" comps? The CXS62 would get 100w per side.

Looking for opinions......

Well if the doors have the space for those, then use what you have I suppose.

Both sets are really nice.

having holes in your doors will bring roadnoise so even if you don't use the OEM speakers, at least keep them where they are to plug the hole in the door

The doors will be deadened with Dynamat Extreme.

So should I sell the OEM's?
