Keep My L5's or Up to HDS315's?

As stated above, should I keep my Kicker L5's (12") or would it be a worthwhile upgrade to go to the 2 Soundqubed HDS315's? I get window flex off of only 600w, so I'm pretty impressed as is, but I want to upgrade. Strangely enough, those HDS315's are cheaper and (according to specs) better than my L5's. Is this something I should consider doing? I'm all about that SPL (duh I have square subs) so SQ is really not a factor here. Bass is bass. Should I sell the L5's and do it?

BTW: I know I'm running way under the L5's threshold. I'm upping them to 1200 on Friday.

You'll want to feed them power too but they should be a good bit louder. No need to play a 20hz test tone to get that window flex, it should happen with normal music. Along with some lung pressure and throat vibrations and ear pressure.

Switch. Even hds312's will give you more.....

If you have money burning a hole in your pocket go for it but with 1200 watts I do t think you'll see much of a difference in spl, you wanna get louder then buy that other L5 and make a new box if you can fit 3 12's.

what he said....^^^^^ if u off the L5s... im interested in one of them...
Can't do that man, the whole system has to go. But hell yes I'm selling em if anyone is interested.

So you guys think it's definitely worth it for the HDS315's? Kinda fucked up that's cheaper and better than my L5s were lol.

PS, no way I can handle 2400w in my Blazer, lights dim at 650w. So I'd probably just put them at like 1500w.

You can pull that amplifier and take to an Audio shop and see if they will test it. Most shops charge very little and some will not even charge...

Go 150 Watts speakers or equal to your amps. 150 watts and up is your amps. That's the good rule of thumb.

The best thing you can do is make a solid plan. This way you won't be spending money twice and having to keep going back in add or replace parts.
