I just bought a new Sony Xplod radio for my 2003 Pontiac GrandAm and i would really like to be able to keep my chimes for when the doors don't close all the way, or the lights are left on, I have heard you need some kind of adapter or something? But i don't know what the exact piece is called in order to search around for it to get more info about it. Any info would be great! Thanks.

scosche is fine. the one you will need from schoshe is the gmlan2sr. very easy to use. axcess is the same as metra. dude if you want go to metraonline.com and look up your car or scosche.com or even PAC.com they all work well. they have had many years to get it right.

Alright guys, thanks very much! you all were a great help, I'm going to go with the GMLAN2SR Scosche model, it's the cheapest, and don't see why it wouldnt work. =P

Btw Fenix, the model on the website says i need the GM09SR

oh, its been a long time since i used scosche interfaces mabye they have a new model. either way there on of the big companies you will be fine either way. the on poster on here has a gmos01 for 35 if it works id use that if its sheeper and guaranteed to work.

yeah i was kinda figuring it was just a new model, as long as the old one works, i'm going to stick with that, thanks for everything =D

Nd no thanks Phoenix, i got one off eBay for 11, sorry.
