Kappa Perfect 10.1

Well, the only thing is that my high pass on my deck is set to 100hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I was just hoping I wouldnt have to spend the extra few bucks on crossovers.

Oh well

Thanks

i had 3 perfect 10.1's off a lanzar 1200D... i believe they had .775 cubs and they sounded just fine. I wouldnt recoomend sending any more power than 325-350 watts rms to it.

Thats just about the same size box I had my perfect 10 in and it sounded good. I'd say try the crossover at 100hz and see how it sounds, I ran mine around 80. Doesn't your amp have a low pass x-over?

Yea it does, but the lowest that the high pass on my deck goes is 100hz. If i set the sub for 80hz, I would have a 20hz "gap" that would have no bass. It's scheduled to arrive here shipped either this friday or next monday, so I'll mess around with it then. If worst comes to worst I could always just buy "bass blockers" or whatever they are called.

Just curious, do you think I should put any fiberfill inside the box?

Thanks a bunch guys, I'm very anxious to hear my sub now (1st system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )
