I want to power two twelve in mtx blue thunder subs. i hooked up a crossfire 35.2 and it didnt to ****. i used a rockford 800a4 and they pounded but

i sold that amp.

Are these 1000 watt kenwood amps any good? they say they are 2 ohm stable and can be bridged to 1000 watts

In my experience, I have seen the Kenwood amps be a great middle-of-the-road amp. They usually come with great extras for the price, but they sometimes feel a little shy on the power when you compare them to a Rockford or Kicker. If you are building a system that you will use at extreme levels during competiton, you should probably go with the big boys, but if you are building a system to enjoy for yourself, and the budget is a factor, the Kenwood is a good choice.

can this amp run a 2 ohm load when its bridged? and will it take a 5v signal from pre-outs?
