every time I get in my car in the morning I try to play my music. I put the cd in thinkin its finna play it ejects back out. I do this for a least 20 mins before my cds work. do I need a new radio or does the lens need cleaning. oh yeah and this only happens in the winter when its cold.

maybe there gets some condenssation or shit like that on the lens in the deck and it doesn't read the cd untill it warms up. got a deck you can try just for testing purposes?

nope, I got tired of it and bought this piece you can put into yo 12v outlet and hooked my portable mp3/cd plaer to it and it worked, but the sq was terrible as hell. I took that back and went back to pushin cds in my radio.

I agree with Icetee..Unless it is just a problem with the HU itself, condensation is most likely your problem. When the vehicle has warmed up, do you ever have any problems?

You can try getting a can of Air Duster, and lightly spraying it inside the the HU.. DO NOT hold the can upside down or at an angle though as it will release more of the moisture in the can. And obviously, dont stick the little "straw" thing included with the duster all the way inside the HU either, as not to damage anything.

i had a friend that had that happen to him.. he had to let the car warm up in the winter and in the summer he had to cool up the cd player..
