jvc kd-g420 help...

I just got this headunit since my other one (looked exactally the same, but was older model) got stolen, and I have one problem, it works fine with my sub but on the old one I could adjust just the subwoofer (the "woofer" control) but this one doesnt seem to have that avaible or even avaible to turn on. Online it shows it as having " subwoofer level/frequency control" Am I missing something here? I checked the manual like 3x and it doesnt say anything about it.
