For some reason, the MP3s are skipping during playback and at times MP3 CDs aren't even recognized and the head unit spits it back out or says "NO FILES". What should I do, what is the problem?
What burning utility do you use? I wouldn't think that the ambient temperature would have much to do with it - I live in Shreveport and it gets as hot here as it does in Houston and it has never posed a problem for me before...It's a brand new unit from Best Buy. I haven't tried any solutions yet. I'm thinking that I use these shitty Officemax brand CD-Rs, maybe I should get a better quality CD-R. The beginning of the CD plays perfectly fine with no skipping or distortion, but as you get to later folders, it gets worse and worse. Is there another method of writing MP3s that I should be using? Could it be the temperature in the car?
