JVC KD-AVX1 issues (no disaply)

Hi.

Well I decided to install my jcv dvd/cd player today and it will open/eject a cd but that is it. It worked well on my old car I took it out of but not anymore. When I push the reset button all it does it makes a few noises and lights go on but nothing on the LCD.

Also my dad told me the orange with white stripes and blue with white stripes was irreverent in my situation.

FYI I have 0 audio experience and my dad helped my install the system.

Well turns out the ignition wire came loose and the LCD works fine.

But now my cd player will show it is playing a cd but no sound can be heard.

:/
