JVC HU cutting off when making a bluetooth connection

Hey all, new here but not new to forums. I have a JVC KW-NT3HDT in my G35 and have a new issue. I've had 3 different phones paired to the HU with no issues and recently acquired a GS3. Now when I turn on the BT the headunit reboots. It will do this 2 times and the third time it gives me a "Start up" error which makes me undo the faceplate and re-attach it to start over. I've searched this forum and the main JVC forum for a solution and have come up empty. Does anyone have advice for me to fix the issue? TIA for any and all help.

Make sure your headunit's bluetooth version is compatible with the bluetooth on your GS3, along with all the other settings.
