My Son Just Puchased A Chevy Cavalier. The Cd Reciever In It Was Shot. We Just Put Another Jvc In The Car. When The Car Is On The Displey Only Playes When You Push Button. It Will Load Cd But Shuts Off After Loaded And No Radio. We Check And Recheck Wiring To Deck. The Car Does Have A Amp With Two 12" Subs. What Can I Do?

Make sure the yellow and red wires on the radio are hooked up to their correct corresponding wire. Also did you use a harness or did someone just cut into the wires?

Yeah, when i cut into my wires it did this so i got a harness for it and now it works really well, so i would check that out

It sounds as if there's no voltage on the accessory wire. You may have a wiring problem, or a blown fuse in the vehicle fuse box.
