My friend just got the 2 SVC 15" Round solo's. Told him he was a fools for buying them but the thin its the lowest to get the is 4 ohms. What would be the most reasonable amp to power these. I think the RMS is 650.

about 650-~700w@4ohms.

If your friend ever decides to purchase another one, just hook it up and the amp would drop to 1200@2ohms (benched to produce 1380w, i think)

Ah, should've read your posts carefully. I was under the impression that he had one sub.

Are you saying he got 8ohm SVC 15"?

Looks like he's in the same boat as me...dual 8ohm sux...

Place it in a fairly large ported box,a nd the underpowered thing might just be covered.
