i know its almost common sence that the legasy/pyrimid stuff is crap...but i havent heard any of it 1st hand. i saw a 1800 watt legasy amp with 4 pyrmid hyper pro 15's for 250 bucks. i was thinkin that would be loud, but then again i heard a guy with 2 jensen 12's with a 1200 watt legacy amp hit pretty hard- about a 128--maybe... haha.... anyway.... just wonderin if any of you have heard this, and just how bad of stuff is it??

If you were getting 1800 watts, it might be acceptable. But your not actually getting anything close to that. And what you do get out of it usually comes with a high THD.

Jensen subs aren't anything to sneeze at. They are definitely not in the same category as we tend to put pyramid and such. With the right install and a proper amp, Jensen subs can be a decent upgrade to a stock system.

Want cheap bump? Get a JBL150.1 and a Kicker Comp 15". Then put it in a ported box.
