So i just sold my KX1200.1 for pretty much what i paid for it new, so i used that towards a KX2500.1. The subs im running right now are 2 10" treo TSX's. I was giving them about 700 watts each with the kx1200 and they sounded good. The treos are in a small sealed box about 1 cu ft each stuffed under my rear seat of my crew cab chevy. Theyre not loud like i want them to be but i know in order to do that i need to go bigger and ported. I was expecting an increase in performance and loudness when i just installed the kx2500 today but it sounded the same, so i guess i reached the limitations of my subs and the box. So now i want to build a ported box about 5-7 cubic feet to sit ontop of my rear seat when i dont have any passengers. I just need some opinons on the sub(s) i should go with. Im thinking either 2 12 or 15 inch RE SX's, or 2 12 or 15 inch Fi Q's or BL's, or just one 18 inch Fully loaded BTL. Which one of these would give me the best "holy shit" response when somebody climbs in and listens to it. Ive never heard a system that actually hurt when you sat inside and played it loud and i kinda wanna experience that for myself

thanks for the offer but id rather go with a BL15 for cheaper, i just wanna know what would be better, 2 BL15's or 1 BTL18? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

WHAT KIND OF POWER DOES THE KX2500 PUT OUT @ 2 OHM? nice amp!!!

yea im definitely after total output, would it be better to get 2 15Q's instead of the BL's because the most my 2500 puts out is 2700 stated on the birthsheet, and im pretty sure the Q's could take around 1350 each, unless the BL's would get louder of the same amount of power. And to all other KX2500 owners: if my amp was rated at 2700 @ 2 ohms, what do you think it would put out @ 1 ohm??
