Just to Vent. Stereo Problems.

I got problems with my system, and I dont know where to begin, or even think of the problem. My bass has a popping/distortion noise. I bought brand new CVR 122s, and they do it. SO its NOT the subs. Brought my amp to a repair shop, he said its good. No distortion. I ground the RCAs, still does it. I put in a noise supressor, and its still there. The RCAs are Knu ones, not sure of the models, but pretty nice. They're gray/black about the size of 6g wire. I pulled my head unit/monitor, checked all the cables and stuff there. Even my wires are good. No problems. Right now I am so frustrated. I am on the verge of pulling it all and rollin with just factory HU, and a 225 on my 2 component sets.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif Everything I have it checking out good, but I am getting noise/distortion. Just recently started. Could the head unit have problems? It is going on 2 years old. But I never had problems with panasonic before. IDK. Maybe its time to upgrade it all.

Have you tried replacing the Panasonic with a different HU? I would bet the HU is the problem assuming the other components checked out find. The fact that it just happened also leads me to believe it was a Hu problem, just something gave out.

that's crazy. i just ran into the same problem last night. i swapped out the whole amp wiring (power, ground, remote, RCAs). swapped out speaker wire. swapped amps! swapped subs! so my guess for me is the HU also.
