You have to remember that your MK I was made back in the days when Adire was a reputable company who actually built working drivers, supported their dealers, and took less than 8 months to recone a driver.
Improved design? sure. Will it work for more than a few seconds or at all? Well lets hope so.

I honestly don't keep tabs on the PR of all these companies. I only research when buying. When I bought my MKI, I heard nothing but praise about the company, which was a year ago. If what you say is true then caution should be taken or other drivers consdered. I have been thoroughly impressed with my 12MKI. It is by far the best car sub I have owned. I mainly owned older JLs and RFs before then, so my reference point isn't the same as many others here.

The MK I Brahma I played with was awsome. Not the best I've used but deffanitely way up there.

Did you buy it new a year ago? If so I think it is an MKII...either way awsome subs up untill the MKIII and IV. The newer ones are still awsome subs from the reviews and what not, if they work.

OT:

I used to live in the orlando area (winter park right across from Lake Howel High School), I love the St. Pete area, The actualy city of Tampa is not so desireable IMHO but you live out in the suburbs correct? Nice area with hot girls. Rich girls for the most part, but hot girls.

I bought it brand new last year but it is a MKI. It was someones spare never used. Nails never pulled out of the crate. Cover never taken off the back of the magnet. Definitely a MKI though.
