So I just put in my 10'' Kicker CVT's. They are two ohm single voice coil. They are paralled to my planet audio 1300d(i think). It does about 1100w at one ohm. Got the woofers at woofersetc.com

They are in a sealed box, bout .6cuft a piece. It is built by http://www.subthump.com dual 10'' downfire, for the nbs xcab silverado.

All I got to say is wow. These things are suprising. I didnt expect much from such a small enclosure, but they get pretty loud, and clear. Very impressed. In the manual, it say to fill with 50percent poly fill. I did not do this, should I? What does it do and why?

poly fill is for boxes that are a lil too small for the sub needs...it maxes the box "seem" about 20-30% larger sp if u built box a tad small or all u could fit in truck was that size than u pack ur box with poly fil

listen to your system and play some lower notes.... if it feels like it isnt loud enoug h for your tastes down low then i would use polyfill. if it sounds good to you then i say leave it as it is

Pics as promised. The thing I built for my amp is not so hot, but then again I am not the master wood worker. It looks okay I guess. Once again, I am really impressed with the box and subs, they really look and sound good.

If you have never seen the inside of the new silverado's I think they are pretty impressive. Then of course a pic of the truck the subs went in.

Thanks man, I love the rims. Hell I love the truck in general. It does okay on gas, it has the active fuel management. So it drops down to four cylinders when I am not in the throttle.

Decent little set-up. Zip-ties would clean up that wiring a bit. Don't really like the hood reflector thing, but too each his own...

I know you cant see it from the pic of the truck, but my windows are limo tint. Also with the way the seats are, and how small the back windows are, you cannot see anything about the inside from the outside of the truck. Even with you nose on the glass. I thought about that as well, but after I looked and looked, I was confident it was impossible to see. Also, there is nowhere else to put the sub.

nice idea...take it further go by some black screw caps,and black screw-down zip ties and it will make all the difference in the world

What are black screw caps? I will have to do the zip ties, I have some of them in a kit a bought. Thanks for the compliments, I am pretty happy about the setup. I am really debating the polyfill thing. I dont want to unscrew them from the box though. Do you guys think it will make that much of a difference?

I really dont have people ride back there that often, so I didnt really think about it like that. Where else would you put it?
