Just installed Alpine iDA-x100 AND I GOT PROBLEMS...

Everything seems perfectly fine, but when I hook up my Ipod...It shows its playing and all but there is no sound at all...

Everything came with the headunit.

well yea its playing when i hook it up with the volume up on the ipod...

and when it is pluged in i put the volume up on the headunit and theres nothing.

just checked that unit out wasnt sure but try using a diffrent source like the radio if its able to do that and see if it plays anything. Did you use a wire harness or hardwire it?

radio works fine...just the audio from the ipod...

used a wireharness

just bought the adapter everything else came with it

I have this HU and havent had that problem at all.... I have had my I-pod crash on occasion when removing it from the connector. I bet its something simple and that youre just overlooking it... Alpine is usually on top of their game when a product of theirs ships out.... let us know what happened. and good luck. wish I couldve helped.

I have the ipod cable and I have no problems what so ever.

the ipod/usb cables it came with is what im using and your messin about Ikesound being bad right lol
