this sub is a great sub i have it in a 5cuft. box tuned to 34hz on a directed 1500d @2ohms 800 watts this thing gets low and sounds way better then my L7 15 i want to get another amp something around 1000 - 2000 watts but i would put this sub up there with the JL w7 which is a great sub the output of this on sub is amazing imo. im thinking of getting another and run 2 in a 7cuft. 3.5 cuft per chamber 34hz 800-1000 watts per sub whats your opinion on this stick with 1 or go for 2

How can we give you our opionion on it, when you are the one that has the woofer. If you want louder, then get a second woofer, and another amp. If your content on it now, then no need to upgrade...

well if you got 2 then you could probably wire them to 1 ohm and get more power out of the amp for the 2. that would probably be louder than the single one with 800 watts

those CVX's are pretty solid woofers. My friend has one, and it sounds great.

yes i was very impressed its way better then L7 15 this one sub lifts the off the windshield on a 45hz bass sweep

i get loud with bull sh!t prefab box. only 3.0 cubes sealed. i heared it ported and its gets very very loud.

this is a very good sub for the money.

I think thats plenty, obviously because it's more than Kicker even recommends. And why would you ask us if you should get another one?? I think you should get 50 of them if you can afford it and have the room!

for the 15 cvx kicker recommends 3cuft to 5cuft ported

Your low end extension will be a bit more emphasized in the larger box, but if you like the 3.5 and it suits your tastes, it will work just fine. I have always liked oversized boxes, but I feel they are a bit more geared to hip hop personally.

but with 2 subs each with 3.5cuft each chamber tuned to 34hz 800-1000 watts per should still be good for hip hop to hit those lows and get nasty loud wright because hip hop and bass tracks are what i listen to
