Good luck to your brother. He has got a long year ahead of him. Im on my 7th month of my deployment currently at FOB Ramadi in Anbar Providence.

Thank you all. Have any of you watched the news lately about the 101st ****\murder that just happened a little while ago? Pretty disgusting stuff.

What they did was horrible and truly terrible. But have you watched the news of people getting thier heads chopped off? Of the soldiers kidnaped from thier checkpoint and tortured? What about the contractors that were burned to death and hung of a bridge? What about how everyday in bagdad when the insurgents drive a car bomb into town and kill dozens of women and children.

yes, I know where he is going.. but i dont know how safe it is to say that stuff on the net. I know where his destination is, as far as the city, but I'm not sure of the exact place where he will be located at after he gets to his destination.

i'm with you. my roomate(although he's not my brother he might as well be) just finished his first year of being on base in the army, and he just flew out two days ago to go to iraq. if it makes you feel any better, you're definately not alone
