Just Got Meterd! Db Numbers!!!

I don't recommend this of course but I run all my amps at half of rated ohms. The reason being is I know box rise will bring me right up there ohm wise. Never blown an amp except for dumb wiring mistakes when I was in a hurry.
Of course I don't pound the lows I have my subsonic filter set fairly high.
I agree, only way to get power from your amp

im running three n a honda and i hit a 144 on music. but i only have bout 350 rms going to each
If thats it in your avatar you have a wall he has no wall //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif:rolleyes:

Nice number for having the amp at 4ohms for sure. I'd wait till you get a bigger battery then drop the amp down and give it a try. But only with more battery and watch your voltage and how hot the amp gets.

I think that is the key with wiring down any amp. Having the power to back it, my boy will be wiring down his Stetsom 7k to .35 daily, but with rise should be well above 1ohm. Only way to get the power out of it though, rise can be a muthfvcker:(
