Forgot to ask but why is the Stetsom running at 4ohms? You realize with rise it is probably running 5ohm or higher

What do you mean how do I know that:wow: Box rise, impedance rise, it all plays a factor man. You should do some research on the subject. I would be willing to bet a paycheck you are sitting at 5ohms at least. You are never going to get 100% of what the amp is putting out, nature of the beast.

I am not aware of any formula to come up with rise. Each install is effected differently. I have my amp wired down to .34 ohms, and after rise I am probably 1.5ohms or more. This is a cheap amp also, no protect, nothing. In order to get the power from your amp, you have to wire it down. But make sure you have the electrical to do so.

I don't recommend this of course but I run all my amps at half of rated ohms. The reason being is I know box rise will bring me right up there ohm wise. Never blown an amp except for dumb wiring mistakes when I was in a hurry.

Of course I don't pound the lows I have my subsonic filter set fairly high.
