just got into a fender bender and my amp is clipping

Diving through rush hour and a cab hit a car super hard and that car slammed into me. It bent my bumper down a bit and slammed my box into my amp and now its clipping in and out.

Anyone had audio gear damaged in a wreck before?

Did the others insurance take care of it?

was your car audio claimed to your insurance ? I'm in Canada and they way stuff works.......you install it, you call insurance company to say say you have something new added to your car and you want it included in your insurance and they agree but raise the rates, afterall why should you get paid by insurance for stuff you weren't paying them monthly for ?

I'm guessing it should be the same in any insurance company in the states

I use progressive insurance but it will all be covered by the cab co.

when I asked progressive about extra audio they told me everything is covered

So it turns out that it might not be covered because the 200 lb box wasn't bolted to the floor.
