Just got boat back from shop PICS!!!!!

Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to obtain a boat like that? The only maintenance is really the motor. Traveling as everyone knows is very expensive, hotel, entry fee to the races are usually $300 or so. If the motor stays together the whole season, the only thing we would change is the oil / plugs. The motor was around 20k to build and we have another 10k into the boat, dyno, safety equipment. At the end of the race season, we usually pull the motor, change the bearing, valve springs etc.......Those offshore boats you see in miami go for 300k+ easy

Its a 1/4 mile drag boat. It runs 9.0's on motor alone @ around 120 mph.
the motor is a 622in chevy @ dynoed at 1000 hp on race gas

Wow, What makes those so much more $$$ than others? I'm not a big boat guy, I just know they can go crazy fast and crash with one heck of a bang!

That's not bad to keep and maintain your boat though, not bad at all.

Yeah. Car audio is actually a cheap hobby compared to a lot of others. Especially if you install others systems for some money and sell your equipment or trade

jesus anything above 80 on the water feels 2-3X faster than on the road. I thought going 90ish on a PWC was fast, good god!

It was around 1k. The wrap has a lifetime warranty from fading / peeling off. Lets hope it last.
