hey guys i just got back from the install on my new sub i decided to go with a 12" kicker comp cvr on my boston acoustics gt-24 amp. The people who installed it turned the amp way down so the sub will last it sounds good when the bass and volume are all the way up but not as good as my last system in the low and its very SQ! Should i tune my amp and just go from there tune and tune it to a higher setting to get that low bass i want? what do u guys think i should do? Yes you guys were right to not go with that insignia and i didnt and i didnt have best buy install that either. Benchmark audio installed it. Sub and installed for 165 but they tuned my amp and fixed all the bugs out of it.

Well, tuning your amp isnt going to make it play lower. Unless the LPF is set stupidly high which i doubt it is if someone professional installed it. The lows come from the box cuz

like i said im a newb but im learning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif heres a ? do you guys think i should rerun my wires put my amp on my back seat and retune my amp? or do you think i should have someone install it for me?
