Just got back from the dentist...

i just found out the name of that cleaning process that they wanted to charge me $60 for on TOP of my insurance which supposed to cover it.

she told me it's "full mouth debrivement"

typically if you have dental insurance they will pay for 2 cleanings a year. that includes x rays.

what happened to me when i went is my gums are very sensitive and they bleed alot. well she suggested that i get partial cleaning this time and come back in a week to do the rest. something like she couldnt do the cleaning properly because of how sensitive my gums were.

cost me like 40 bucks for the second cleaning they had to do. if yours is the same situation they should of explained that to you. but to have to put you under for a cleaning either means they are trying to get money out of you or you have very sensitive teeth.....ive never heard of them offering gas for the cleaning its normally if the patient is complaining of alot of pain that they then offer it. so either your teeth **** or ur a puss.......

lol i am a puss. but just becoz of my past experience with 1 dentist.

She didn give no gas no fluid and told me shed drill a tooth to do the filling and that bitc drilled right throgh the whole tooth and touched my nerve. That was the most painful experinece of my life. every fkin moment felt like eternity of pain.

oddly enough the few fillings ive had to get i hate getting the novacaine so i make them do it without.......i have such sensitive teeth i cant bite into a popsicle but i still make them do it without any pain relief....id rather deal with the pain then be numb...i dont know why i just hate it....

i did have a tooth break last year and they had to put a crown on it and i let them numb it. he said i was really close to the nerve and they might touch it so i didnt want to risk it haha

dentists are a fuggin ripoff...luckily my insurance covers basically everything and anything but they are worse then used car salesman... extra X-rays, "deep" cleaning, mouth cancer screanings, mandated tooth paste/tooth brush sales. I would tell them to go fug themselves but every dentist in the area is not excepting new patients and they all have 6+ month wait times.
