im gona run for kicker cvr 12inch subs in a sealed box off a audipipe1500d. how about these the fs is low and the xmax is high and i think they like sealed??

the tidals have a low fs and and a high xmax. they have push terminals i like that lol. u think 4 will do well in a box that is like 4.5 cubic feet sealed? i can get 4 for 320.00 shipped. i like that alot lol

The Tidals are made by Image Dynamics, so I'd expect them to sound pretty decent. For that reason alone I'd choose them over the CVR.

the fs is nice and low , u think they will take 350rms all day and b able to play notes im talkin like 30hz. i really dont like the idea of the kicker everyone has had these sub and from what i have read there good but they sound like kah kah.

I don't know exactly how they'll perform, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they're WAY better than your alternative.

I've owned CVRs and will never use them again. I hate them.

For the price of 4 of these you could get 2 10's that would probably sound better, hit harder, deeper... but its all about what flips your switch..

I just do not see the value or benefit of running 4 of these.. having the extra subs doesn't always mean better out put or any louder output vs just 2 better subs..

i know what your saying but i have a box for 4 12s and i think with the cone area and the power im sending to them it should b nice. im just looking for anyone has used them or seen them in action. just the fs and the xmax alone makes me want to give them a try. i do have to say if i went with just 2 12s i would look at somthing eles. this is more of a budget build i guess.

every one has used them and i dont see alot of local guys ever running the ones im looking at.

If your looking for any SQ don't get CVRs... every cvr i've ever heard had pretty bad SQ, they can get decently loud but sound like garbage IMO

I think they will be a hell of a lot better than the Kicker any day.. I cant say they will perform as your expecting them too.. but you know.. they are at least decent.. You can make any sub with in reason.. 'sound' good.. in the right setup..

6-8ft^3 for all of them sealed, or a big low tuned ported box.
