Just Did It

As I have been a little out of the phone loop, is there a Android based phone that is similar to the HTC Incredible that is the next generation to it which Verizon will carry? As in decent processor, decent camera, good size screen etc.
I have an android samsung mesmerize, that has a bigger screen than iphone, more apps, etc. I think verizon has it's twin with another name.

My buddy's Iphone gets him top-shelf tail every night bro.
Get a dell streak. More tail and easier conversation starter

girl: "it's so BIG"

me : "that's not the only thing"

Not to mention its already been out for what 6-7 months? And most any "real" droids out preform the iphone its a stupid chouce also you could hav jus put ur music on the droid...not too mention the droid has more free aps...I don't get you ppl
Wrong, Iphone for Verizon doesnt come out to the public until 2/14/2K11, but some verizon members got an exclusive chance to buy it 2/3/2K11 @ 3am.

What's nice is, there's always new phones coming out. What sucks is, there's always new phones coming out. Every phone Ive gotten the past several years has been a big step up and a modern marvel in my hands. Every phone Ive gotten the past several years has been obsolete within 3 months.
Exactly.

Which Droid did you have and why did you hate it?
And Audioholic, I think it's great that new phones are always coming out, because if you can get over the fact that you don't have the latest and greatest you can usually pick up the slightly older model (which is still usually great technology) for cheap.
I have the original. I bought it before the X came out, i didnt know about the X. Its nice but it freezes up a lot and i barely have any apps at all on it. Its not as bad as my blackberry but its close.

Actually, it comes out to the public on the 10th...unless they just decided to change that...

I still think you should cancel your preorder and get the Thunderbolt (4G!), or wait for the Bionic/iPhone 5. Much better alternatives.

Set Your Location
I switched from the HTC Incredible to this phone, LG Vortex. It uses Android 2.2 software & Bing search engine. Not a real powerful smartphone like the newer 4G models, but I like it. If you're due for a 2-year upgrade it's free & it's a great entry-level smartphone.
Thanks, I did peak at that one. I am due for an upgrade in about 2 weeks. I enjoy having a smart phone due to the massive amount of emails that come in and keeping up with the forums and such, and I admit I am curious about the 4G phone.

My business partner was going to get that one, but opted for the GalaxyS. I will have to check out both in the stores. Supposedly the LED screen is much better on battery life, and that is my biggest complaint with the iPhone.

The Mesmerize, Fascinate, Captivate, etc. are all part of the Galaxy S line of phones. There is no "Galaxy S phone" per say.
