Not "obsolete" just not the latest phone out anymore. The problem is everyone is getting phones as status symbols... but how special does it make you when EVERYONE else has the exact same thing? Some of the stuff phones can do is useful. The rest is just novelty.

As I have been a little out of the phone loop, is there a Android based phone that is similar to the HTC Incredible that is the next generation to it which Verizon will carry? As in decent processor, decent camera, good size screen etc.

I switched from the HTC Incredible to this phone, LG Vortex. It uses Android 2.2 software & Bing search engine. Not a real powerful smartphone like the newer 4G models, but I like it. If you're due for a 2-year upgrade it's free & it's a great entry-level smartphone.

Just ordered my Verizon Iphone. I got exclusive rights to buy at 3am this morning so i waiting and bought one. My Droid pisses me off and now i wont need to carry an ipod and a phone.
Lets see how good it is.

I hate upgrading to a new phone if I'm not going to get the best phone. I mean, you're gunna have to live with it for 2 years, so it would be in your best interest to get the best.
