To the average high school kid, I am sure that 400 watts RMS to the front stage would be too much since most of them are running head unit power to their factory speakers.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
As for the OP's front stage, that is freaking insane, but if it works, then why question it? To think, I thought I was crazy for running a pair of Lunar L60x2 amps with one bridged to each door in my 1997 Civic Coupe, passive FTL. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Each one of those amplifiers can produce 280 watts RMS! With the gains all the way down, I measured 140 watts RMS per amp into a 4 ohm load at my maximum listening level of 25 with a 1,000 Hz 0db test tone on the Alpine CDA-9885.
