Just not sure why anyone would have a Pearl. Why have a texting phone when alpha keys are not separate? Makes no sense to me. Glad to see you upgrade.

once the pearl learned my slang words, i actually liked the texting feature. was pretty easy to use IMHO

i think the bold is overrated
Was not that impressed espically not with the price tag it has

Overrated? If anything the storm is overrated.. The bold had little to no advertisement until after the phone was released.. Every other commercial had the storm in it. The bold is a much much much much more stable phone, and its much faster than my storm.. The storms os still needs alot of work, but that is expected with any new device, especially a touch screen. With this said, I still love my storm even though its a quite a bit slower than the bold, its not stable at all yet, the bolds screen looks twice as good as the storms, the bolds speaker sounds far better aswell. The storms laggy os can be fixed though. I love them both, but lets be honest, the bold isnt overrated, the storm is.. Many people dont even know about the bold...

i text alot too...so far its been good. I maybe text 300-400 a month tops tho

yeah the pearl was a POS....in 1 year between my wife and I, we had 6 of them. They would not upgrade us for free until we each had 3 different pearls.

I have the pearl and i'm glad it hasn't died on me yet. Had it for 2 years now.

How do you like the storm? I'm thinking about getting one but i don't know if the clicking touch screen will annoy me or not.

wanted a storm. wanted to not deal with verizon and their crazy expensive data plans more. Family ended up going to Alltel, so I got the curve. The ONLY problem I have with it is that the e-mail won't reconcile correctly. If I delete a message on the phone, it will delete from my mailbox just fine, but it won't work the other way. Other than that I love it, despite being a"last-gen" phone (I still have 3g, so I don't much care). By the time my contract comes up, they should have the new curve and the Niagra out so I'll probably grab one of those. However, Verizon will have finished the merger with Alltel by then, so I might have to switch carriers again depending on where I am at the time.
