Yeah, but I would have to buy it online and unlock the GSM part to do so I would imagine. The process would cost more money than it's worth. Also, I don't think the Storm supports quad-band GSM (the sim car is in there so you can use the phone in Europe), so depending on where you are, the network might not be using a band that your phone supports.

However, that is a moot point, since Alltel isn't a GSM carrier. Besides, I like having a physical keyboard. It that didn't matter to me, there are many touchscreen phones that are better than the Storm.

With my Curve, I get all the features I need, got the phone for $100, get a cheap data plan, and I still get to use Verizon's network, so I kind of beat the system a little. I will probably get the Niagra when it's time to renew though, because a little more space between keys would be welcome.

40,000 texts in one month would be 56 per hour. Unless you have other people on your plan, you would have to do nothing else the whole day to hit that number

The only thing I hate about the storm is the screen click.

Thats what i like about it. With all other touch screen phones, when you accidently touch something it opens it up. With this one you dont have that problem because you have to click it...

Thats like saying the z06 has nothing on the c6 vett except 500+hp. Lets not be dumb here, the bold is a superior phone over the curve8900. Much better keyboard to type on, and 3g. The bolds 3g absolutely destorys the curves on edge. Even the bold on 3g is faster than the curve on wifi. Another useless post. YOu dont own a bold, so quit making foolish comments. The only phone thats overrated is the storm... I love it, but their are things I hate about it.

First of all it depends what wifi you're using. If you're on a shitty network of course 3g is going to be faster but that has nothing to do with the phone itself.

second of all did i say i didn't have a 8900? i had one before it was even released by tmobile so you can stop making your assumptions pal.

Don't point out the wrong things. I would have imagine that you would say that the bold has a bigger screen compared to the 8900 and that is true. But it is not easier to type on the bold than it is on the 8900.
