Just built my first subwoofer box!!!!!!

Hey guys! I just finished building(almost) my first ever subwoofer box! Well, just finished building two //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I did a bunch of research over a couple days and cruched numbers and modeled with software and ended up with a transmission line enclosure for a SQ HDS208 8" subwoofer and a slot ported enclosure for an Alpine Bassline 12".

Got too lazy and dusty ( Geez, MDF gets HELLA dust everywhere) to take pictures during but have end pics.

Port was too shallow to mount the 8" normally, so I made a flush double-front-baffle thing so that the sub is mounted inverted on the very front piece.

Specs: T-line: Port area: 32 in.^2

Port Length: 75 in. long

Tuning: Fs, 44.4 Hz

Internal volume: 1.45 ft^3

Ported box:

Volume: 1.8 ft^3

Tuning: 35 Hz

a little trick for the front baffle on the 8, you can use 1 1/4" screws and crew it from the inside so when you paint it you won't have to fill the holes.

I have seen many professionally built boxes that did not look this good. If they sound good you'really golden. Really nice job.

Why didn't you round the other corner on the first two inside turns? Looks great for a first box though.
