Just bowled a 300!

not even a printout ?!

I have the print out, I will also have a ring, a plaque and I also get a watch for 100 pins over my average. It worked out good, I have been running over a 200 average and last week I hurt my wrist and did really bad. Well it dropped my score below 200 so I am able to get the watch. I got all this stuff last year as well. I can take pics or what I get or the stuff I have from last year for proof. I just need to get a cam.

No red ballon, here on our computers we have a red carpet that rolls out with the 300 on the top of the stairs. But its hard to see when everyone from the lanes comes down to watch we are a big bowling alley so just imagine about 100-130 people behind you watching you throw the last 3 balls. It is nuts, after I got it of course they rushed me with hi 5's and shacking hands etc. Last year I got tossed up it was cool.

ive done it a few times..........never in league of course though. so i have nothing to show for it.

Well you should of had them print it out for you.... for proof most people I know if they do that they get a print out.

Other wise I cant tell you how many people I know that have told me they bowled it and cant provide any proof.

I had to first 9 once and thats the closest I've ever been. Nice bowling man....congrats.

You know the feeling and the sad thing is the first 9 are easy its the 10th one thats the hardest. The thing is I know people that have been bowling for 40yrs and have not been able to get one. Its not a everyday thing

Very nice. My PR is a measely 233 back when I used to play on a regular basis. Only averaged ~160. What's your average?

my average goes from around a 195-210 all depends, it can really drop fast if you have a bad week. But I stick around 200 or so earlier this yr was like 210 area. I am happy were I am because I dont get to hardcore I just sit back and have a good time etc. I dont try my hardest. The hard part people have that know me, I am a area bowler, so I dont have a mark I just throw the ball and crank it. It is alot harder to throw a 300 this way then it is with someone that has a mark and can adjust and play the same spot over and over again. Mine i just shoot in a direction.

how much beer....ERRRRR "aiming fluid" did you have? I love bowling, but just can't embrace it as a sport- it is certainly a recreation, but I just feel anything you get better at as you slam nachos and beers can't be a sport. Not trying to bash man, I'm a 160 avg and have a best game of 225 so congrats.

I heard from a friend of mine who has probably atleast 10 300s in his life that the 10th ball is the hardest. And the 11th and 12th are the easiest. But I got a little nervous after the 7th and really nervous on the 10th. I sent it out too far and came in too light and left the 4-8 sleeper. Picked it up and threw the next ball for a strike and ended up with a 278.

No beer, I quit drinking and everything else a few yrs ago. Bowling is a great sport. But you need the challenge there to enjoy it more. As I said theres about 140 guys on the monday night league I bowl. So there are alot of great bowlers. I think the highest average guy there is running a 233. That is impressive.

Great job man!!

I bowl a fair amount (high school league) and have never seen anyone bowl over a 270.. My average is around 145-150 and my high game is just a 193... I love bowling though.. Like you said, just kick back and have a good time!
