so a local just dropped of this mojo that he had already tried to fix himself. now i get to try and break it down with out ruining any of the parts that i can not replace, and clean up and fix the attempted repairs. FML

ive about got it all apart, slow going on this beast with the hopes of re-using 98% of the existing parts. the local audio shop is a memphis and JL dealer. so the question remains, are they my least favorite brands because of something tangible, or just because its all i friggin ever work on.

I think building subs would be fun! Most of the time anyway. Lol you should figure out a way to print stickers to put on the dust caps so your local hillbillies will think they are buying killer name brand stuff. Prob help with sales and you know your self your building better than average equipment.

did you say centerhung coil? it looks like at most a .75" top plate

so your saying that the coils only .75" long

over hung means the coils longer that the thickness of the top plate

under hung means the opposite

it is a litle over hung but the coil windings are not very tall, good eye.

by the time we ship it back and forth and you buy the cone kit you will have more in it then a new V2 is.

unless you want to have me try and fit som generic non SA parts. then it MIGHT be cheaper.

sooooo, my friend just sold the camaro that this was suppose to go in... guess i might stick it in the for sale area. wasnt really ever planning on this so all i have is ball park numbers for it, wonder if its worth selling as is or just breaking back down for the parts.
