Hey guys,

Another enclosure build. This one is for joker0907. It will be dual 12" (kicker L5's), ported, and it will be barely a hair over 2 cubes per chamber. Tuning will be 31.7Hz and it will be 27 sq inches per woofer (couldn't really afford much more space for anything, so port size is a hair small, I know..)

And this was just started a little while ago, so it's not done...im just keeping him informed on it's status and will upload pics as they are taken.

Here it is..

Pieces cut..(one half of the enclosure)

(all of the pieces for it..)

Clearing glue off the end-area to insure a smooth fit for the piece that will go there...

More clamps captain!!!..

Really nice work so far! Nice clean cuts, and nicely glued edges. Hope you keep it up!

p.s. Did you use the RE Audio webiste calculator to design this?

This made me realized I'm fcked coming up in the next week or two.,

I guess I'll make some sort of L-shaped wooden thing and put weight up against the sides...? Or just push down a book or something.

I'll figure it out.

Thanks guys. And yea, he made up the design actually on reaudio's calculator and I tweaked it slightly.

Alright, another update..

I had to move this off of the workbench and onto something a bit better to clamp on..

Getting the front-face of one of the sides glued on..

Again, cleared away the glue for the next piece to fit nicely...

All clamped-down..

And yea, you can always use more clamps! You can sometimes find amazing deals for clamps at Harbor Freight; I have picked up some clamps there for about $5 for a 36" clamp. They also have kit pieces there for very cheap (you still need some metal tubes for them though but they're only like $4 or something).

Haha, for sure. And I actually got those red clamps at harbor freight for like 7-8 bucks a piece //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif. They've held-up so far and I've really been impressed with them for the price.

Another update..

Rounded over the edge of the inner corner of the port wall. I couldnt use the router outside with the neighbor's kids in bed and I don't want to use in the garage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Clamped the square onto it for clamping. It just didn't want to cooperate..

Getting the other side of the enclosure on (I got kind of sloppy with the glue on this one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)..

Alright, here's another update..

Getting the port put in the left chamber..

Knocked down the edges on the port ending..
