JLs wont fit

After i recieved my two 15w3s in the mail along with a jbl1200.1 amp, i started to build the box. Before i bought the subs, i measured the trunk to see if the box jl recommended would fit and it did. So, today me and my dad went to work on planning and building the box. After my dad looked at the trunk...he realized that we might not be able to fit the box in the opening for the trunk to get the box into the actual trunk. We then built a box out of cardboard and he was right it wont fit. So now im going to return them. What subs do you guys suggest me getting, i'm probably going to go with either two 12s or one 15. the only problem is finding decent priced subs that can handle almost 700 rms a peice. What do you guys think about the jl 12w7? Can a single w7 handle 1300+ watts? thanks alot for your help guys...i'm pretty pissed off right now as you can imagine.

steve, you took the words right outta my mouth........or if you wanna get real custom with it.....build the box in your trunk......i mean since the box fits the trunk but not the opening just build it in the trunk

Yep, another possibility...do your back seats fold down? You might be able to slide it in from there but Im sure youve already thought of that if they do fold down.

Uh gee... I wish i could afford W7s ..... anyways, i would suggest an upper level audiobahn model like linear compression subs, though i would guess that the w7s could handle it

forget to add that its a 1991 honda accord. The back seat does fold down but it cant fit through there. Do you guys think i can just change the dimensions? How would i be able to alter the lengths but still have a 2.125 enclosure. The JL lengths for the box would be 44x16x14.75. thanks guys. I would really like to keep these subs if its possible.

Hmmm, how many inches do you need to be able to fit it in your trunk...I'm assuming it wont fix in length wise, so subtract the inches you need and add them to the depth domension //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If i cannot fit a box into my car....what do you think about one eclipse 15'' titanium sub. I can get one for under 600. I know there goods subs but can it handle a jbl 1200.1?

Both get really loud, but they also sound really good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would recommend an RE XXX 15" sub, it is a really good sub. You can get them for 399 plus shipping if you really wanted to, and i beleive that they are around 1600 rms. I would definatly look into those if you are looking to buy another sub.
