JL10w7 for SQ?

I dunno, all of the ported w7s I have heard have sounded very clean, even on rock. So its not like its going to sound like poo in a ported box. Although i do agree that the dub7s and w6s would do great in sealed.

Its not a matter of distortion, its a matter of accuracy. The frequency response of the W7 in a ported box is going to exhibit significant peaking in the 35-40Hz range in most vehicles, and that peak is definitely NOT in the original signal.

As I said, don't port it for SQ purposes, it's an awful terribad idea.
