Jl10w6v2 how deep is my bass supposed to sound??

Not too much else I can tell you without seeing/hearing it in person and troubleshooting it.

I didnt realize it until i used my ipod on my g.f's car. I checked the Eq and saw treble boost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif. Since my ipod is always in my glove compartment of my truck i forgot about it.

Well after turning the eq off on my ipod. The sub still cant hit the bass drums and bass guitars while playing anything besides rap and hip hop. It sounds amazing with Rap and Hip hop very clean bass even hits harder than my JL 12w3v3. It's just confusing as why it sounds like this.

Have you tried it with a CD or just your iPod. It could be that your rips ****.

Do you know what the box is tuned to? If it is not tuned right then you won't get the impact from the subs. I know the JL subs can do it as I used to have 4 10W6AE (just before the v2's) in a sealed box (0.75 cuft/sub) downfiring and it sounded like 2 ported 12's. Sometimes you just need to get the setup right.

Yes i tried it with a CD. All my rips are V0 or Apple Lossless. It wasnt the rip.

I found the problem. Seems as though my Imprint on my W505 turned down the bass frequency when using Midrange Comp setting. I dont know why it sounds like that with my 10. But not with my old 12.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I tuned the system my self and my bass is back where i like it. Im guessing Imprint ****ed with the subs frequencies.
