jl xd500/3 anyone...

I'm looking at this jl xd500/3 to run my whole system. I'm working on my front stage right now. My current sub won't do with this amp. I have to have a dvc 4ohm sub and FI X 10" is svc 4ohm. I am just looking for anyone who has used this or is familiar with these xd amps. I'm not looking for anything stupid sound wise just more quality and louder than stock. I can only choose from a few amps for a certain reason regarding my setup. The amp MUST have balanced differential inputs so if your gonna suggest a different one keep that in mind.

whats wrong with the kicker? that amp will push the fi x just not with a lot of power

There is nothing wrong with the kicker but its rather large at 20" long. I have a feeling the kicker will draw a ton of current. Most likely I'm over thinking things. I went to a local shop and saw this jl amp and really like the size. The jl amp will put out 180 watts at 4ohm I had my X on that power before and I wanted to give it more.

what about a pair of rockford pbr300x2? use one for the fronts and one bridged for the subs. might be a little more expensive but the amps are smaller

The rockford don't have balanced differential inputs or I would be game.

I just now found out they do have those inputs. None of the paperwork on the amps themselves say that but on crutchfield I see they say it does.

I have to have balanced differential inputs with my setup no choice in the matter otherwise I will get a ton of noise. They both have themi just found out.
