JL W6V2 or JBL GTI?

I'm in the market for a new sub and want great SQ, so I've narrowed it down to these two subs. It will be a 12" powered by a Kicker ZX1000.1. Which of the two will have better SQ in a SEALED box built to spec?

Or some of the Image Dynamic subs are great in sealed boxes. Though I've got nothing against the JLw6 or the JBL.....

I'd go with the w6 since I have personal experience with them and they simply are hard to beat for SQ. (not too sure how it'll like 1000wrms+, just set ur gains correctly)

Also look into the Dayton Reference series. I run these now and SQ-wise they rival my w6s but not as loud.

Both are very transparent even up to a 90hz xover point and still have had pretty flat FR in my setups. So, thats a little more forgiving in case your front stage cant play authoritatively down to 50hz or whatever. (which is something I look into when looking for an SQ sub, not just one that can get low and sound decent)

I'm pretty sure an Fi Q recommendation is coming but it wont touch the w6 or Dayton for SQ.

Image Dynamics also supposedly makes good SQ subs, but I have no personal experience outside of hearing one for a quick second.

Jbl will get louder and sound great but w6 sq is superb. I've had both.

This...they are far from being a true SQ sub, but they are more "SQ" than they are loudness when it comes to SQL, if that makes sense.

just fine, make sure you set your gains correctly, i had each of mine on a t1500-1bdcp for about a week, they can take alot more than rated as long as the woofer is seeing a clean wave.

W6 by far, ~600 rms on each and you'll be fine
