i have 2 12w6v2's that i have no use for since im selling my car, and I was thinking about building a box and putting them in my room for parties. It would be used strictly for music only, not a theater system.

how would these perform in the proper box, with the proper amp, such as a Dayton HPSA1000, 1000w @ 4 ohms

i run car subs in my house with plate amps...there is one huge problem people over look in this subject....how much your fu$king house rattles

you have to shut off your vents...and in the winter it gets cold so you need heat...and hear the rattle....also there is the paintings on walls...remove all of them the first day they will sound like shi@

In theory there is noting wrong but like me you will spend a lot of time fixing probs you would never have in a car. Such as going in the attic and nailing in boards of plywood 3 layers thick to stop my god **** roof from making noises.

Its not as easy as one thinks but very rewarding
