haha.....just go outside and listen to your sony's lude...thats where the real spl winner is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif , Snova, i saw the 20 mm excursion thing. the L7 cant even get close to 20 mm. oh man. i would take the W7 over the L7 any day. i have heard both. both get loud but i believe the w7 has more potential loudness than a l7.

Well, I don't know much about the L7 and it's suspension/motor/etc...but it's got around 13mm one way...this is linear, however- I'm not sure whether or not it's somehow limited by it's suspension or motor...but if it's possible for it to get to around 20mm one way movement...it sure isn't gonna like it. The W7 still has a good way to travel before it loses its linearity...

Once again, the W7 has a nice advantage in displacement due to that high xmax figure (~32, I believe?)- which is DUMAX tested, btw.

Lude has to realize that scores don't dictate how a sub will perform in everyday use. If we could say that scores will tell you how great a sub will perform, a lot of people would've traded in their W7 for a CSX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The fact of the matter is the W7 is one of the most potent and potentially great sounding woofers on the market- there's no denying that.

lol i love this debate im sorry but u can get about 3 L7 12's for the price of a W7 and the L7 doesnt take as much power and still hits just as hard or harder then the W7

Care to explain how an L7 will 'hit just as hard or harder then the W7'? Please, let me know.

You don't get it. W7 has a ton more potential output than the L7. It displaces a good amount more than the L7.

call me stupid if you want....... i would love to see an ed a installed in the "right application" b/c as of right now - they get no props what so ever..... some say phil's install isn't a "real" install, however he has "fixed" is problems (if there were ever any)

Just using simple means ...
15A

58.2 mm p-p excursion

806 cm^2 effective piston area

4690.92 cm^3 linear displacement (4.69 litres)

13W6v2

43.2 mm p-p excursion

648 cm^2 effective piston area

2799.36 cm^3 linear displacement (2.8 litres)
there ya go...

And this is from the 13w6v2...not the 12- still nearly +2 litres over it from the A...
