JL TW5 , help

hello guys im new here bt i got a jl tw5 in my single cab truck with a 750/1 jl amp, well long story short , it burned out and i had it sent to jl becuz its my second one that burns out.

my dream right now is to put 2 of these LOUD subs , what amp do you guys recomend? and do you recomend 2 amps or jus one.

what size is box looks small they want a min of .6 cubes and looks close to your seat (does it touch it ?)

i did two behind a f250 rear seat stelthed in very very important to account for excursion with these subs

btw they were run off a 1000/1 and they pounded so your 750/1 should be fine for the two but if you want to keep abusing them get another

yes it does touch an dats still cuz i moved teh seat up but i dont wanna move it too much cuz im 6 feet tall and big and im super restricted to space, how much did that box run u for?

Those subs are VERY particular about power and enclosure. The 750/1 is too much for a single sub, and that box is too small, and shaped incorrectly. Read the owner's manual, and it will show what the enclosure should look like. Thin, flat, and long, with the sub almost all the way down on one of the box.

i think that they just gave a general design for the sub for a simple box. but i think any box that's .6cu ft or bigger would work really. i have mine in a FG box and it's pretty good.

i didnt make it, my local audio store did, supposebly they said it was made with jl's dimensions

that ruins a $500 sub and could void your warranty
