JL Sub Wiring Help Please

Newbie here asking for some help please.

Ive ran a single sub for a number of years now however my new car will allow me to run 2 small subs.

I have the following..

Rockford Fosgate P300-2 Amp with a power rating as follows-

4ohm Load Per Channel 75 Watts x 2

2ohm Load Per Channel 150 Watts x 2

4ohm Load Bridged 300 Watts x 1

This is currently running one JL 6W3v3-4 Subwoofer bridged with a rating as follows-

Continuous Power Handling (RMS) 150 Watts

Recommended RMS Amplifier Power 50 - 150 Watts

Nominal Impedance (Znom) - 4ohms

I wish to install another JL sub of the same spec. Im finding really conflicting information on how to wire these up for the best result.

Should each sub go to the left and right channels?

Or should they be wired in parallel cross the already bridged channels?

You cannot wire them in parallel because that will create a 2-ohm load on the amp and it is not rated at 2-ohms bridged. Best way to connect for this amp and these subs is to put each sub on its own channel.

75 Watts into each sub individually = 150 Watts total into both subs.

not true!!! lol if they are d4 he could run 2ohm if hes doing seperate ch and it will give him 150w per sub correct? 300 total..

ONE ON EACH CH... DO NOT RUN BRIDGED... YOULL GET 150 PER SUB AS YOUR AMP IS STABLE 2 OHM OUT OF BRIDGE MODE...

YOUR AMP WILL RUN BETTER TOO BEING OUT OF BRIDGE MODE... HOPEFULLY YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IF NOT PM ME...

Now I'm even more confused :/

The jl subs aren't dual voice coil are they? The diagram shown is for dvc speakers

YOU SIR ARE CORRECT SINGLE VC.... THEY WILL BE PERFECT LIKE THE GUY SAID ABOVE.... JUST RUN ONE TO ONE CHANNEL AND ONE TO THE OTHER, DO NOT BRIDGE... YOULL GET 75W PER SUB WHICH IS THE RECOMMENDED FOR THAT JL SUB...

Put a 150w on them it kills warranty lol.... Id just grab some american bass xd 8's.... Youd be better off and it would sound a thousands times better!!!

Ok thanks for that. I may look at changing the. It's just I already had the one jl from an old setup
