I have a 1998 Integra im new to the car audio scene so i have a couple questions.

I bought a pioneer deh-p980BT deck i have a JL 10W7 and a JL 500/1 amp

my first question is which box should i get the JL Pro Wedge box or a ported box? ( mostly listen to rap and techno)

Second is do you guys think this system will sound good? im more about SQ but i still love the boom

Three do i need anything else for my setup or is that all i need i can now go and take it to be installed??

last haha just for fun my friend has a 15" kicker do you think mine will sound worse/equal/ or better than his lol?

How should we know if your setup will sound better than his? We know that you have a 10W7, a Pioneer HU and a 500/1. And he has a 15" Kicker.. Far to vague to make even the slightest assumption.

If you're aiming for SQ.. I'd put it in a sealed box about 1.2-1.3 cu.ft. It won't be as 'boomy' as a vented box. But you said in your first post you're aiming for SQ..

im under powering it? well i havent ordered my amp yet so i can still get the 1000/1 but ive asked that question and most people said that 500/1 will be perfect for a 10" W7 are they wrong?? and sorry about the kicker statment he has a alpine 9887 and i think a 1000 watt amp not too sure what kind tho but its not a big deal it was just outa fun. btw thanks for the replies about the box
