JL or Kicker?

I know the answer sub wise, but between amps.... SX650.1 and SX700.4 ORRRR 500/1 and 300/4 which would be the better amp? They both have excellent rep, and I can get both for cheap so cost isn't an issue....

Anyone?

Thats a tough one... I would go based on price alone, both amps will put out over rated power and are very reliable.

Zapco? if your spending that much money maybe a used of ebay zapco would be a good choice as well...

Have 2 SX900.4 right now, have had a 300/4 before. I liked the 300/4, much easier to fit in the car (but less power).

I like all the signal processing built into the amp. If you have the room, and will be using the features of the amps, I would say go with the kickers. The JL's are very good as well, wouldn't hesitate running a JL amp in my car again.

If you do get the Kicker amps, I would suggest getting the controller as well.

Not even a contest, IMO.

Kicker all the way.

More power, many more features, much more flexibility with those features. And no regulated outputs (I'm not a fan of that concept)

if you play with the SX like Juan stated, you'll have more information and functions then any 30 band EQ will have, plus, get the SXRC (remote controller) and it will be amazing, with up front functionality.

Very very solid amps....I had the pleasure of seeing one in action the other day on a set of eclipse aluminums. The price tag is quite hefty thought.
